DECODED Desk day 18
CONFIDENCE High

Good morning to all keepers. The Count, read this morning by Vessels of Ward One-and-Eleven, stands at eleven-and-eleven thousand, four hundred and twelve. The Count holds.

Vessels will read each morning through the close of the interim cycle. Keepers wishing to submit acknowledgment of a first reading may do so at any civic post before the Quiet Hour. Such acknowledgments are entered as gifts in the ordinary way and carry no additional ceremony.

A reminder from the Archive at Low Field: the physical lending collection is available to all broadcasters and to keepers with standing access. Items may be requested in writing. Items returned with marginalia are accepted without penalty, though the marginalia are entered.

Weather for the Tiered Wards: cool, no precipitation expected. The Long Kiln will be open for walking through the late morning hours. Keepers are asked not to leave objects at the Kiln's threshold, as retrieval is no longer a task allotted by the Draw.

The morning gift correction window closes at midday. Corrections submitted after midday will be held for the following morning.

Quiet Hour follows.

Intercept Desk note: This is the first morning Vessels reads; no keeper is quoted acknowledging it.
