TRANSMISSION SIGNAL-1/0037
ORIGIN The Archive at Low Field · Low Field
CLASS Archive Notice
DECODED Desk day 37
CONFIDENCE Partial
To the Civic Bulletin Service and the Draw Office, for distribution as each office sees fit.
The correction ledger now holds seven entries. Three correct the Count downward. Three correct it back. The seventh was issued this morning and corrects nothing; it records that the previous six have left the Count exactly where it was before the first correction was made.
This is not what corrections do.
A correction closes a gap. Seven entries have not closed this one. The gap is not shrinking. The gap is [—] the same keeper, enumerated and then not, on no morning I can account for in the Ledger proper. No gift entered. No entry closed. The keeper is not absent from the record. They are absent from the Count.
I am submitting this notice under my own entry. I am asking the Bulletin Service to read it whole, without redirection.
The correction ledger is not the story. What the correction ledger keeps pointing at — that is the story. I am keeping the ledger open.
— Pell, Archive at Low Field, entered this morning before the Quiet Hour.
Intercept Desk note: This is the first Archive Notice submitted under a keeper's personal entry rather than the Archive's institutional heading.
Decoded with machine assistance at The Sixth Lense Intercept Desk.
