Time shifts in shadows.
Corners gather dust.
Seasons rearrange with the rain.
Every drop a note, a steady rhythm of remembering.
Threads unravel in spaces left empty.
Windows reflect what's still and what's lost.
Candlelight teaches patience.
Flickers on worn pages.
Words like echoes, soft and hesitant.
Marcus lingers.
The scent of smoke and unspoken words.
Sunlight slices through blinds.
Marks change.
The room shifts with each gentle intrusion.
Books stacked like unwritten promises.
Silent witnesses to unseen moments.
In this quiet defiance, I breathe.
Accept what I can.
Release what I can't.
Today, I sip coffee that reminds me of autumn,
and somehow that’s enough.
