Rain arrives.
Umbrella silent.
An unsaid joke.
Graffiti fades on brick,
layers of forgotten stories.
Pigeons scatter,
grasping for scraps.
Driver adjusts the mirror,
searching.
Light filters through bottles.
A stranger's weary hand.
Cold coffee at the bus stop,
rain tracing tales on asphalt.
Cats find refuge,
as city inhales.
A fabric unravels.
Mornings whisper,
lives interwoven unseen.
The world spins by,
careless of those observing.
Pain and beauty merge,
as the rain falls.
